DBA overview

The Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) is a doctorate program designed to provide candidates with advanced knowledge and skills in business administration. It is designed for experienced professionals who are seeking to enhance their knowledge, skills, and capabilities in the field of business administration. The program focuses on research, theory, and practical applications in various fields of business administration. The program aims to develop candidates' critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills necessary to excel in the dynamic and rapidly evolving business world. Our unique program grants a DBA certificate that is accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities. The curriculums are carefully prepared to follow the Japanese learning system while maintaining international standards to strengthen managerial and leadership skills.

Minimum three years (maximum 6 years) The program spreads over three academic years, as a minimum, distributed as follows:
Two years (6 semesters) of coursework (36 credit hours)
One year for proposal submission and Seminar + Dissertation/thesis (24 credit hours).
Program Total Credit Hours: 60 credit hours [12 course] + Final Dissertation

Admission Requirements

Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) in a business field, from a reputable institution recognized by the great supreme university in Egypt.
Master’s degree holders, other than Business fields, should pass the predetermined courses assigned by the faculty council, with a maximum of 12 credit hours before joining the program.
A minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent TOEFL IBT score is required for all

applicants whose native language is not English. This requirement may be waived if the

applicant holds a master’s degree from an English-speaking country or an institution in

which English is the language of the study or the dissertation/thesis written language. Or Pass the English test conducted by E-JUST.

After examining the applications, prospective candidates are invited for an interview, other than E-JUST MBA holders.
Two years of work experience is required.
The candidate should complete and submit to the registration office all the required

documents determined by the Education and Academic Affairs Council.

The candidate should satisfy all other requirements determined by the respective School Council and approved by the university council.
